Federico Siano

Welcome to my web page! I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at The University of Texas at Dallas.

I specialize in empirical capital markets research. I study the decision-relevance of unstructured information within corporate disclosures. I am particularly interested in the interplay between numerical and textual information within the accounting system. My research applies “big-data” methods to empirical economic questions.
