Federico Siano

Welcome to my web page! I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at The University of Texas at Dallas.
I specialize in financial archival research, focusing on the decision-relevance of corporate disclosures. My work leverages big data and artificial intelligence techniques to examine key questions, including:
- Identifying which information is most useful to investors
- Examining in which economic contexts and for which decisions
- Determining to what extent accounting disclosures matter
In 2022, I received my PhD in Accounting from Boston University. I also studied economics, finance, and accounting at the London School of Economics and Bocconi University.
Before joining Academia, I spent four years in the financial sector as an investment and consulting professional.
